We established The Nakatomi Foundation in 1988, with a view to carrying on a mission entrusted to healthcare industry for human health and welfare. Our main objectives are as follows: 1) To further basic research in healthcare-related sciences, and 2) To serve the health and welfare of the general public. To date, the foundation has promoted a wide range of research in health care and other activities including an international exchange of research, and will continue its dedication to the progress of a sound and vibrant society through these activities.
